Diversity: America's Strength!

In the section, I want to make it clear that I am sharing my personal opinions and view points. You may agree on some, all, or none.  That is your right.
I have been asked by many people, both the highly educated and the illiterate, how could America become so strong, so fast!  How did we grow into the superpower we are in such a short time. I am a student of both history and of cultures. So here is my belief on how we accomplished so much so quickly:

A DIVERSITY OF  PEOPLE! A huge variety of different cultures. We have almost every culture known to man in the U.S. With them they bring their beliefs, their ideas, their philosophies, and their capabilities. We are a HUGE pool of different ideas, which gives many perspectives to solving problems or creating new things. It has been my experience in many places around the world, that a group consisting of people from different backgrounds and techniques, can almost always outdo a group consisting of just one ethnic group. The reason is obvious.  Many cultures have been around for centuries, but they have grown up in their societies thinking only one way, looking for answers in only one direction, sticking only to what they know and believe. They have not progressed rapidly. A diverse group can hear many different viewpoints, as each has a different background, and brings a completely different approach to almost everything. When those many ideas are pooled together, well; you can see the big advantage. Many cultures are stagnant, and cannot grow out of their box. Some are just learning how to do this, and are starting to grow and prosper. If you take all the colors offered in the U.S.; white, black, red, yellow, and brown, it gives us the strength of ALL of their experiences and beliefs. It is very powerful! It also has given us our greatest military strength: Adaptability! Americans can learn, then adapt, then grow in almost every situation. Many military countries throughout history have repeatedly stated that their biggest fear is our military's ability to adapt, or "change on a dime", and continue forward when they thought we would flounder. We have learned this from each other! So don't look down or belittle other religions, colors, or cultures in the U.S. Instead consider them our biggest strength! And maybe thank them for helping make our country the strongest, most free, and powerful place in the world!

It's a cool blue sky above!
